Kazan House Water Wall

Water sculptures, water walls, water curtains, ornamental pools, fountain pools, fish pools, water lily pools and mini ponds that can be called water features are an inseparable part of architectural designs for small spaces; halls, shops, restaurants, cafes, hotels, museums, cultural centers, squares, parks…… etc. Because water is “life”, “liveliness”. Both water itself and the sound of water attract people. At the same time, water elements beautify, uniqueize and add value to the spaces they are located in. Water features are a meeting point, a memory and a symbol.

In our Kazan House project, a private residence in Kazan City, Russia, one wall of the wide end with marble floors carrying objects specific to Asian culture was designed as a water curtain. In this water features, the wall where the water flows was decorated with koi fish statuettes, one of the symbols in Asian culture. Water and fish. Two elements that complement each other.
