Biological Lagoon

Ponds, Ornamental Pools, Fish Ponds, Waterfalls, Water Channels are an inseparable part of large gardens, parks, Ornamental pools architectural designs. Because water is “life”, “liveliness”. Both water itself and the sound of water attract people. At the same time, water elements beautify, make unique and add value to the spaces they are located in.

In our Muğla/Bodrum project, a pond was designed to beautify the large garden of a farmhouse on the Gündoğan hills. The farm was located in the forest. Therefore, the pond to be built here had to be natural like the farm. Therefore, the pond was built as a “Biological Pond”. This pond fills its water from the rainfall in the winter months, and in the summer, it uses the water it fills by filtering it with bio filters and water plants inside. Thus, the Koi fish thrown into it continue to live and reproduce in summer and winter. In this respect, it is a sustainable pond.
