In hotel projects, a SPA consisting of at least one outdoor or indoor pool, sauna, steam room or Turkish bath is now a must for hotel projects. In our Rehabilitation Center project called “Awaza Hospital” built in Awaza city of Turkmenistan, thermal baths, indoor thermal pools and indoor hydrotherapy pool were included in the project.
“Awaza Hospital” located on the shores of the Caspian Sea was built on a thermal water source. As its name suggests, it is a rehabilitation center. The thermal water here is around 20oC in summer and winter. Therefore, it is a thermal spring water in the “cold thermal” group. This center has rooms with thermal water, thermal pools, a massage hydrotherapy pool for the disabled and a natural seawater pool. In addition, additional special disinfection systems were installed for the thermal pools. Powerful massage systems were considered in the hydrotherapy pool. Special seating groups and grab bars were considered for the disabled in all pools.
